Coach Scott started coaching during the first seasons of SWaG Volleyball Club and in the local parks and rec organization. He felt the need to focus on serving, feeling that the first goal in a young player’s experience is in getting a good serve. Afterwards, he started the WAVE Volleyball Club in LaGrange, GA and later met with Coach Gary Johannes, merging into the Tsunami Columbus Club.
Scott has obtained IMPACT Certification, USAV CAP I, USAV CAP II, SAFE Sport, AAU-PCA Level 3 and GHSA Community Coach, certifications in coaching.

Hi, my name is Allison Coates. In May 2020, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in public health education. After graduating, I took on a career in education and in coaching. I was the head volleyball coach at The Lakeside School in Eufaula, Alabama for two years. I then moved on to be an assistant coach at my alma mater, Harris County High School, where I played volleyball all four years of my high school career. In addition to school ball, I played club volleyball my sophomore year for Tsunami Columbus under Coach Johannes. This year I will be moving on from Harris County to teach elementary special education in Chattahoochee County. My heart to coach did not stop in Harris County; I am thrilled to be apart of the PAC family and am looking forward to what the upcoming season holds.

Coach Madison started coaching after retiring her volleyball career at LaGrange College. Spending over 8 years playing club volleyball impacted her greatly; she not only gained skills on the court, but lifelong friends and traits that can be implemented in every aspect of life. Her main goals are to grow these traits in younger players & help older girls prepare to be the best they can be at the next level. She owes much of her coaching traits to her dad - Coach Scott - who has been her mentor over the years in all aspects of volleyball!
Madison has obtained IMPACT Certification, and, SAFE Sport certifications in coaching.

My name is Coach Brooke! I’m 22 years old and I’m currently in the academy to be a Game Warden. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and doing anything outdoors.
I started my coaching career after graduating high school. I fell in love with this sport at a very early age and wanted to spread my knowledge with players to come. My favorite age group to coach is 14s and 15s because I feel that’s when the most learning and skill development happens. I enjoy going back to the basics and slowing things down for the younger players. Not only do you get the learning experience but you develop the best of friendships playing travel ball and that was my biggest take away was from playing and Coaching with this club.
