PAC Volleyball would like to be the first club in our area to share what our upcoming 2023-2024 season will look like and share our support for all local volleyball programs and coaches. Our goal is to be the preferred club for all premiere players.
Attention PAC players, parents, and all surrounding players who are playing for another club and who may be potential future PAC Volleyball candidates.
As many of you have heard, there have been some changes at the club level related to the tryout process. Tryouts for clubs are now allowed to take place in July rather than October and/or November. This change has been concerning to many players and parents from all clubs as many clubs across Georgia could require their members to participate in mandatory club practices, early scheduled club tournaments, and even weekly mandatory club training that could conflict with the high school volleyball season. Some clubs could even encourage and give incentives for players to bypass high school volleyball and participate only in club volleyball.
PAC Volleyball values all school programs across Georgia, from middle school to varsity. We support our players being multi-talented in every aspect of their life whether that relates to participating in school clubs, sports, and/or other unique programs. We want our players to be well rounded leaders both on and off the court while representing their school and community. Knowing that, we encourage all our players to represent their school programs.
PAC 2023-2024 Season Information:
Cost: *$2,700 pending payment plan
Practice schedule is pending the number of teams and gym availability.
Who will my coach be? A coach's personal and work schedule must be kept into consideration so announcing the head coach in July may not be realistic.
What are you looking for in a player? We are looking for positive, self- confident players who are looking to improve their skills and game through training while offering a family style atmosphere. We want our players to focus on training and improving every aspect of their game while holding themselves accountable for their growth.
How many players are on a team? A team will be made up of 10-12 players who work hard and who have a positive attitude
Will the new established club season interfere with school ball? Absolutely not, we value all school volleyball programs and we support all local volleyball coaches. Have fun, represent your school, and just relax.
What is the advantage to SRVA changing tryout dates to July?
How many coaches will be on staff? We currently have 7 coaches on staff with the possibility of adding 2-3 more
*Season Length? Some of the teams will have a regular season (Oct - June) and some ages/teams will have a short season of (Oct - Apr) this is based on age/skill of team. Players and parents will know the season length before being asked to commit to a team.

How will I be notified?
Once a player has a tryout, if they are offered a position they will receive an Invitation to Play the night or tryouts or the next day. In the email you will see:
Once both of those have happened they will be a proud member of PAC Volleyball.
Once a previous player or new player denies the Invitation to Play we will immediately lock that position and recruit in and around the surrounding area to fill it. The final tryout date will be Sunday, Sept. 3 by invite only if a position is still open. In order to be invited a coach or club director would need to see the player in a school match and meet both player and parents about the open position.
First Mandatory Club Practice:
Sunday, Oct. 1st - Times to be announced, Sundays only until each school season ends
Here are the payment options for the upcoming season. Please note that we do not collect in the month of December.
